Collegue sent me this link regarding the up and coming edition of Soul Calibur. Apparently Namco has agreed a deal with LucasArt and allowed them to create two special characters for the game. Yoda, is expected to make an appearance as a special character on the Xbox 360 version, while Darth Vader is slicing and dicing on the PS3 version of the game. I remember for Soul Calibur 2, Heichi from Tekken made an appearance on PS2, Spawn for Xbox, and Link (from Zelda) on the GameCude version. Neat ideas, but its a pain. I think they should make all these special characters available on all platforms! Ah well, I guess Namco needs to make the mulahs one way or another... (Screenshot courtesy of 1up.com )
