If like me, you have Google UK set as your homepage for your favourite internet browser , you would have noticed that gone all black. Why? Well because its Earth hour, an opportunity to switch off the lights for an hour to save the world from increasing carbon emissions. Well, does it work? I don't know to be honest, but its a way to get environment issues noticed, especially on the web. But bear in mind I had to switch on and use some electricity to actually write this post. I'm no expert in environment saving and all that (I do know my friend Netty has a few things to say about the environment), but I'll try to do my best in doing my little bit to help the environment.

Came across this little tool while looking at the Google services. They seem to have started up an online document and spreadsheet creation tools allowing people to collaborate and share their work. I gave this a whirl and took my BSc degree dissertation from 2000 as a test drive. I simple copy and paste did most of the work from the original MSWord document, however some work needed to be done to get the diagrams into the online Google document. Thank god for SnagIt! You can see my dissertation from year 2000 online here . I'll go around putting my MSc dissertation too.
