Took this rather interesting angle of the sea when I went to Peng-hu island with my friends and colleagues for a small Summer break. Absolutely loved this place! Even though it was hot as hell, just seeing (and hearing) the blue sea meeting the blue sky brought my blood pressure down a few notches! Would like to go there again to hear the sea and have the sea water lap at my feet, very relaxing indeed! More photos here and here

Colleagues directed me to this location of Taipei city for some healthy exercise and great views. This is Shi-Shou Mountain, or Four Beasts (or Animals) mountain. It was a very sunny day and quite a trek. Must admit, I'm in bad shape, as I saw the older mountain walker taking it easy without breaking a sweat. I must get fitter and healthier I think! But the sweat and tired legs was worth it for this great view of Taipei City and Taipei 101. In addition to the great view and the hard work, some of us was taking a nice afternoon Summer nap. I wish I was this dog!

Just a quick catch up post. Its been a while since I have written on here. I either was too busy with work, or, lost the sense of self-motivation to keep the blog going, but looking back at the photos I have accumulated, I thought I could at least write something for a daily photo taken over the past year. So there's gonna be a lot of back-dating on the posts. So, lets head back in time to July 10th 2009, where we visited a Summer fair at Amelie's school. This was Amelie's first face painting experience. She choose the design herself and had held very steady for the artist to paint the design. If you can't see, its of a butterfly because she wants to be a butterfly fairy. For me, she looks more like the Ultimate Warrior from WWF.
