Just before heading back to Taiwan, a final holiday with Grandma is needed by Amelie.  So where did they all go?  Greece for sunshine and sea.  Wish I could be there, but I was stuck in Taipei, Taiwan working :-(. Either way, I love this photo very much and very funny too.  The iced lemon tea looks very refreshing indeed.  Thanks mum, for looking after Amelie during our stay in UK.  Miss you dearly.

Ninja Train!

Found this photo of Amelie enjoying a ride at the school fair. She looks very happy indeed! What amazes me is that she chose to sit in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle train sporting a cheeky image of Michaelangelo! Turtle Power!

Amelie And The City

I quite like this photo, with Amelie and her cheeky smile. I think this is one of the department store bridge crossings overlooking one of Taipei City's main road. If you can look carefully, you can see MOS Burger!

New Haircut!

Amelie has gone on Summer holiday with her mother to Taiwan and the second day back she goes get a haircut! I prefer it short, makes Amelie look more cute, although it does make her face more round! Nevermind, you can't have them all.

Excellent Progress Award From Nursery

Amelie's big day as she was awarded an "Excellent Progress Award" by her nursery teachers Mrs. Mulherin and Mrs. Hafford at Waterlook Primary School. Shame that they didn't spell her first name correctly! Well done Amelie! Keep up the good work, and try your best!

Summer Fair At Waterloo

Just a quick catch up post. Its been a while since I have written on here. I either was too busy with work, or, lost the sense of self-motivation to keep the blog going, but looking back at the photos I have accumulated, I thought I could at least write something for a daily photo taken over the past year. So there's gonna be a lot of back-dating on the posts. So, lets head back in time to July 10th 2009, where we visited a Summer fair at Amelie's school. This was Amelie's first face painting experience. She choose the design herself and had held very steady for the artist to paint the design. If you can't see, its of a butterfly because she wants to be a butterfly fairy. For me, she looks more like the Ultimate Warrior from WWF. For you the younger readers of my blog, google Ultimate Warrior, you will know what I mean. More back-dated posts to come! See you all soon!

Update From Home

Hi all, hope you are all well, its been a while hasn't it? Many apologies for the lack of update. Recently I've been trying to find my feet with moving back home and all, and trying to find a direction I want to go. Its been difficult to say the least, and I have still not come to a conclusion as to what I want to do to move forward and find myself. Perhaps time will tell. As you can see, Amelie has grown up a lot more since readers of the blog last saw her. She will be five years old later this year and will start reception class at Waterloo Primary School. I'm pleased to hear from the nursery teachers she has been developing well and making lots of new friends in class. However, I thought I would like to give my thanks to the nursery teachers, Mrs. Mulherin and Mrs Hafford for their outstanding effort, dedication and patience in taking Amelie under their wings for those 2 hours of the day. Recently have been very hot here in my part of the world, and takes some ti...

Amelie - On The Slide

Some old videos I found on the hard-disc drive. This one of Amelie playing at an indoor play area at KFC. At the same time I thought I'd give this video feature on blogger a go. Looks to be OK, but takes ages to upload, and after uploading, you need to wait for the video to be processed. This video is about 34MB, and took about 15-20 minutes. Just hope that you don't have a dodgy internet connection, otherwise, this feature is a pain to fully use.

Tricycle Fun

Amelie tried out her new tricycle at the SYS Memorial. Kind of hoping she will get the idea of what pedalling is, but perhaps she's a bit lazy. So most of the time, it was us who pushing her along. Anyhow, here's a couple of videos of her on her trike.
