Mr. Ku's KTV Birthday

Happy Birthday! To my good friend and ex-colleague Steve. Hope you had a great time at the KTV (that Karaoke TV). We certainly did, and also got a taste of your singing voice on the the mic. Wish you good fortune and health mate! Get yourself a girlfriend, because you ain't as shy as you think you are!

There were a few who came, namely, Mary, Marian, Gavin, Ken, Cammie, Hank, Eri, Chien-yu and myself, all singing all sorts of songs. Eri was impressive, just never expected such a performance from him at all! He even sang Phantom of the Opera, English version, while the KTV video was showing Chinese subtitles! Wow!

It was also my second time going to KTV. Because most of the songs were in Mandarin, I really couldn't sing. They did, however have a couple of English numbers, though they were VERY old. I even spotted YMCA by the Village People on the songs list.

Here are a few photos taken during the evening of singing-fest.

Amelie Back In Taiwan, Reunion With Mister Donuts

Amelie finally back in Taiwan!  Have missed her for three months, but have been busy at work, not had chance to catch up with her.  However, Amelie did some catching up herself...with her favourite Mister Donuts! You must cut down on those foods!

Its been a while!

Hey all, sorry, had been away for so long.  Sometimes have so many things going on and so many thoughts, not sure what to write. Life update is that we've moved out of the in-laws place, and renting an apartment in the city.  It's not brand new. No lifts, and we live on the top floor, but it's my home now. Just recently been in hospital for stomach ulcers causing internal bleeding.  Nightmare, when you wasn't allowed to eat or drink for 4 days.  But I'm back home now, but only this morning, I discovered I now have a gout attack.  FML. Anyway, life continues to surprise or annoy me in new and fascinating ways. Mimi is still with us by the way, always staying loyal and guarding. Until next time.
