Back In Taiwan

Just a quick posting to let you know we're back in Taiwan.

We left the UK house at 7:00am on the 5th October (UK time) and did not touch Taiwan soil until 12:30pm on the 6th October (UK time), thats a 30 or more hours of travelling hell, but we made it admist delays upon delays. I swear, I don't think I would want to do long haul flights for a long time, especially with a toddler, and to be more precise with Singapore Airlines anymore. I think their service has gone down considerably since I flew them a year ago.

Anyway, we got safely and at the moment, trying to reset our body clocks to Taiwan time. There's still a lot of un-packing to do, but one step at a time eh? What's more important is that I had chance to update the blog with photos and posts. For the past two weeks, I had to resort to notepad for blogging. Better than nothing I suppose!

Here are some more photos in around Ashton-under-Lyne and Manchester. I took most of these on the last few days while driving my grandparents in and out of Chinatown in Manchester city centre. Enjoy!

Amelie Back In Taiwan, Reunion With Mister Donuts

Amelie finally back in Taiwan!  Have missed her for three months, but have been busy at work, not had chance to catch up with her.  However, Amelie did some catching up herself...with her favourite Mister Donuts! You must cut down on those foods!

Its been a while!

Hey all, sorry, had been away for so long.  Sometimes have so many things going on and so many thoughts, not sure what to write. Life update is that we've moved out of the in-laws place, and renting an apartment in the city.  It's not brand new. No lifts, and we live on the top floor, but it's my home now. Just recently been in hospital for stomach ulcers causing internal bleeding.  Nightmare, when you wasn't allowed to eat or drink for 4 days.  But I'm back home now, but only this morning, I discovered I now have a gout attack.  FML. Anyway, life continues to surprise or annoy me in new and fascinating ways. Mimi is still with us by the way, always staying loyal and guarding. Until next time.

Goodbye P-100

I'm just going to upload the last ever set of photos from our loyal Sony P-100. I will update this post tomorrow. Yup, the Sony P-100 is a gonna. It ain't gonna rise from the ashes, this time... For now here are some photos taken today around Taipei using the Sony P-100 before the evening's accident, which involved Chien-yu, her foot and the hard marble floor we have in our room. We now got a good excuse to get a new, better digital camera. Its going to have to be a Sony one though, because I invested in a 1GB memory stick. Need to make use of that as much as I can! Sigh, money, money and more money.
