Special 101 - Number 1

I walked past Taipei 101 today, and saw that it looked a bit different today. Not sure what the special occassion its for, but it looked pretty neat.

Taipei 101 has special light patterns for certain special dates and festivals. I plan to take a picture of these "special editions" of Taipei 101 and share them with you. I think the next special edition should be Christmas related. Watch this place.

For now, does anyone know what occassion is this special pattern symbolises? It looks like its something to do with Cancer or something, but I'm not sure! Can anyone enlighten me?

Amelie Back In Taiwan, Reunion With Mister Donuts

Amelie finally back in Taiwan! Have missed her for three months, but have been busy at work, not had chance to catch up with her. However, Amelie did some catching up herself...with her favourite Mister Donuts! You must cut down on those foods!

Its been a while!

Hey all, sorry, had been away for so long. Sometimes have so many things going on and so many thoughts, not sure what to write. Life update is that we've moved out of the in-laws place, and renting an apartment in the city. It's not brand new. No lifts, and we live on the top floor, but it's my home now. Just recently been in hospital for stomach ulcers causing internal bleeding. Nightmare, when you wasn't allowed to eat or drink for 4 days. But I'm back home now, but only this morning, I discovered I now have a gout attack. FML. Anyway, life continues to surprise or annoy me in new and fascinating ways. Mimi is still with us by the way, always staying loyal and guarding. Until next time.

Goodbye P-100

I'm just going to upload the last ever set of photos from our loyal Sony P-100. I will update this post tomorrow. Yup, the Sony P-100 is a gonna. It ain't gonna rise from the ashes, this time... For now here are some photos taken today around Taipei using the Sony P-100 before the evening's accident, which involved Chien-yu, her foot and the hard marble floor we have in our room. We now got a good excuse to get a new, better digital camera. Its going to have to be a Sony one though, because I invested in a 1GB memory stick. Need to make use of that as much as I can! Sigh, money, money and more money.
