Tam-Shui, Cycling

Last Saturday, we went to Tam-shui, a district North of Taipei with a number of colleagues from work. It was a cycling event where we got there and hired the bicycles and roamed around the Bali penisula. It was a lot of fun and beats staying at home. We hired a 4 person cycle where Chien-yu and I did most of the cycling. It was rather tiring since its been a long long while sincei did any exercise, but it was fun anyhow. It was also good to take Amelie to see different places. She enjoyed the fast boat ride which took us from Tam-shui pier to the Bali penisula.

My colleagues, was also there with us too, enjoying the outing. There was Hank, David H, Alex, Mary, Vanessa, Penny and her three friends, Gavin, Amber, Donny and his girlfriend.

I would to say a special thanks to Vanessa, who had organised the outing (and previous outings too). Vanessa went through many brochures and made many calls to plan the day. Thank you Vanessa! Outings like this would never happen without you!

After a day on the cycles, we then went to a local restaurant and enjoyed some barbecued meat and vegetables. Yum yum!

At the same time we celebrated Mary's birthday (a week early). Happy Birthday Mary! Hope you have a wonderful day on the 19th November (Mary's actual birthday).

Anyhow, it was a lot of fun, and I have started to think about buying a bicycle to get around the city and to get a bit of exercise. We shall see!

On the way home, we caught a couple of sleepy heads! (True Love - Next Generation)

Amelie Back In Taiwan, Reunion With Mister Donuts

Amelie finally back in Taiwan!  Have missed her for three months, but have been busy at work, not had chance to catch up with her.  However, Amelie did some catching up herself...with her favourite Mister Donuts! You must cut down on those foods!

Going Japanese

After a bit of a battle in the bathroom with Amelie, she chose to go Japanese tonight. Chien took some pictures, and I thought I'd like to share them. Enjoy!

Goodbye P-100

I'm just going to upload the last ever set of photos from our loyal Sony P-100. I will update this post tomorrow. Yup, the Sony P-100 is a gonna. It ain't gonna rise from the ashes, this time... For now here are some photos taken today around Taipei using the Sony P-100 before the evening's accident, which involved Chien-yu, her foot and the hard marble floor we have in our room. We now got a good excuse to get a new, better digital camera. Its going to have to be a Sony one though, because I invested in a 1GB memory stick. Need to make use of that as much as I can! Sigh, money, money and more money.
