My Back...

..killing me.  Not sure why, but I'm feeling a lot of pain in my back.

Well last night was a night to remember.  A huge massive argument broke out between the various members of my wife's family.  There were a lot of shouting and some crying, but it all ends up with me comforting everyone to make sure everyone is OK.  Sure there's mis-understandings, lots of questions and lessons to be learnt from all parties, but at the end of the day, life goes on moving forward, not backwards.

I think I have come to realise this a bit more.  I can't hang around in the past.  I need to look to the future and work out a way to make things better.  Life is tough as usual, but if it isn't tough, then its not life.  I just have to carry on and plough the field of life and hope that something worthwhile will grow.

Amelie Back In Taiwan, Reunion With Mister Donuts

Amelie finally back in Taiwan!  Have missed her for three months, but have been busy at work, not had chance to catch up with her.  However, Amelie did some catching up herself...with her favourite Mister Donuts! You must cut down on those foods!

Its been a while!

Hey all, sorry, had been away for so long.  Sometimes have so many things going on and so many thoughts, not sure what to write. Life update is that we've moved out of the in-laws place, and renting an apartment in the city.  It's not brand new. No lifts, and we live on the top floor, but it's my home now. Just recently been in hospital for stomach ulcers causing internal bleeding.  Nightmare, when you wasn't allowed to eat or drink for 4 days.  But I'm back home now, but only this morning, I discovered I now have a gout attack.  FML. Anyway, life continues to surprise or annoy me in new and fascinating ways. Mimi is still with us by the way, always staying loyal and guarding. Until next time.
