Where to live and hide?

The world is so big and wide,

Where is the best place for me to live and hide?

France? For its art and fresh bread?

Or Italy? For its coffee and Rose red?

Japan? For its technology and gadgets?

Or India? For its religion and long sunsets?

Egypt? For its history and colors so bold?

Or the Arctic? For its ice and the cold?

Taiwan? For its good people and kind heart?

Or America? For its TV shows and super-marts?

It doesn't really matter where I live or hide,

As long as my loved ones are here by my side.

Going Japanese

After a bit of a battle in the bathroom with Amelie, she chose to go Japanese tonight. Chien took some pictures, and I thought I'd like to share them. Enjoy!

Lunch with Grandma Ng - Japanese Style

For lunch, after praying at Grandpa's resting place, we set off to a local Japanese restuarant which Grandma likes very much. I went for the roasted eel in teriyaki sauce with rice. It was really really nice, and could have had another two bowls. Grandma's favourite dish was the barbecued squid. We also have pan-fried dumplings, beef rice-don, and my Aunt ordered her favourite sushi rolls. Really enjoyed that meal! More photos here .

Hello, Amelie is sick again...

Just an update. I know it has been a while, but Amelie is in hospital with some bad virus. Hopefully, she will get better soon...
