More Lego Housing

More Lego creativity here, with a much bigger house, with trees on the roof and even a small dog house on the left there. Nice.

New House On The Market

Here's a Lego creation from Amelie with the aid of her mother. Quite nice actually. Well, I was impressed. I wouldn't mind living in that house. Given the cost of housing these days, its probably cheaper to build a house out of Lego bricks!

Monster Burger From The King

Its not often I get to have Burger King (honest!), but this day we went to the one in Manchester City Centre, and I could not resist ordering this beast of a burger. Can't remember the name of it, but it was huge. With three beef patties, onions, lettuce, tomato sauce (no cheese though!) in a nice sesame bun...ah...this really made my day!

Excellent Progress Award From Nursery

Amelie's big day as she was awarded an "Excellent Progress Award" by her nursery teachers Mrs. Mulherin and Mrs. Hafford at Waterlook Primary School. Shame that they didn't spell her first name correctly! Well done Amelie! Keep up the good work, and try your best!

Summer Fair At Waterloo

Just a quick catch up post. Its been a while since I have written on here. I either was too busy with work, or, lost the sense of self-motivation to keep the blog going, but looking back at the photos I have accumulated, I thought I could at least write something for a daily photo taken over the past year. So there's gonna be a lot of back-dating on the posts. So, lets head back in time to July 10th 2009, where we visited a Summer fair at Amelie's school. This was Amelie's first face painting experience. She choose the design herself and had held very steady for the artist to paint the design. If you can't see, its of a butterfly because she wants to be a butterfly fairy. For me, she looks more like the Ultimate Warrior from WWF. For you the younger readers of my blog, google Ultimate Warrior, you will know what I mean. More back-dated posts to come! See you all soon!

Rain Rain!

Rain at last! Thank God the heat wave is over. I can finally concentrate a little better on the work at hand. It was such a sluggish week and productivity was so slow it almost grinded to an halt. So refreshing to feel the rain on my skin and hear the pitter patter of the raindrops as it pour downed onto the sun drenched gardens, roads and homes. Lets hope weather stays a little cooler over the weekend.

Update From Home

Hi all, hope you are all well, its been a while hasn't it? Many apologies for the lack of update. Recently I've been trying to find my feet with moving back home and all, and trying to find a direction I want to go. Its been difficult to say the least, and I have still not come to a conclusion as to what I want to do to move forward and find myself. Perhaps time will tell. As you can see, Amelie has grown up a lot more since readers of the blog last saw her. She will be five years old later this year and will start reception class at Waterloo Primary School. I'm pleased to hear from the nursery teachers she has been developing well and making lots of new friends in class. However, I thought I would like to give my thanks to the nursery teachers, Mrs. Mulherin and Mrs Hafford for their outstanding effort, dedication and patience in taking Amelie under their wings for those 2 hours of the day. Recently have been very hot here in my part of the world, and takes some ti
