Farewell Joyce (914)

Another team member leaves the workplace for greener pastures, this time its Joyce!  914, you will be missed by all of us, especially when opening defects!  Only kidding.  Take care and keep in contact!  Good luck to where ever you go! More photos here .

Hou-tong Cat Village

Another company outing, yeah!  Destination, Hou-tong Cat Village, famous for....well, its cats.  Legend has it there are up to twenty or more stray cats living in the area.  I say legend, because we actually only saw six different cats and they were awfully picky about the food too.  So it was a little disappointing. However, it was still a great way to be away from the office for some fresh air and picture taking! More photos here .

After School Creativity

Here's where some of my school fees payment goes to...after school creativity!  A wonderfully colourful door sign with Amelie's name!  Put that up and at least you know where your room his eh?  ;-)

Powerful Friends?

Looks like the M-I-L has powerful friends... Well at least Amelie is not impressed and not happy!  Ha!

After School Ice Cream

More desert for Amelie after school, this time in the form of ice-cream with chocolately bits!  Amelie really needs to stop eating this stuff, especially weighing at almost 30kg!  I can hardly carry her! More exercise and healthy foods please!!  More photos here .

Rao-he Night Market, Taipei

Took the 311 bus from Ren-ai Road heading East towards an infamous night market on/near Rao-he Street. This one is bigger than Tong-hua night market (the one closest to our home), but the foods sold are almost the same with a majority of the foods fried, which I cannot savour and eat.  However did come across some BBQ food which satisfied my hunger a little.  The most famous item here is the "Black Pepper Buns" which is stone-over cooked, with a thin crispy pastry and marinated black pepper sauce pork.  I remember having one of these a few years back and quite enjoyed it, even though it was a little spicy!  Well worth the visit to sample Taipei night market cuisine! Another Weekend, More Walking Exercises and Food Shopping!

Another weekend, and more walking and more shopping.  Taiwan is quite convenient in many ways, with many 24 hours stores and of course 7-11!  Why can't we get 7-11 in UK?  Just totally mystifies me... More photos here .

Farewell Gene!

Seems to be a lot of people leaving our workplace recently, and next up is Gene our Keroro Gunsou No.1 fan! Wish you all the best mate and stay in touch! More photos here .
